Foreword by Dave Lodge, Premier Cabaret Booking Agent
and Personal Representative of Tommy Bruce:
"In 1977 two things happened to change the life of a charismatic young man from the North of England. One was the early demise of his hero, Elvis Presley. The other was the realisation by himself and others around him that he could do more than just win talent competitions with tributes to his hero.
In a very short space of time "Big" Jim White was receiving rave reviews in the Forever Elvis show, his natural talent, added to enthusiasm and hard work took everyone by storm. So much so that the legendary P.J. Proby became aware of Jim's talent and spent some time with him giving him the benefit of his experience, something that Jim has always appreciated.

Local and National newspaper reporters wrote about how stunned they were by the quality and power of Jim's voice and the accuracy of his mannerisms and movements. During a phenomenal period of more than ten years Forever Elvis became the world's longest running Elvis musical and The Stage and Television Today also gave Jim praise for his star role.
But Jim White is not an Artist living on past performances, his power and passion on stage has to be seen to be believed. Jim does not claim to be an Elvis Impersonator, although many who do would love to achieve his standards. His show is a genuine tribute that keeps the memory of Elvis alive. People may come to see this show because it's Elvis, but they will come back again and again because it's Jim White."
